Byron Bay Family Fun
Byron Bay is a great place to bring your bike. From Suffolk Park Holiday Park there is a 15 km network of mostly flat coastline bike paths taking in the national park and local scenery. The bike paths are suitable for young children and are a great way to explore the local area as a family. Didn’t pack your bike? Pop into Byron Bay Surf and Bike Hire where you can hire bikes from $10 a day.
Crystal Castle is an enchanting attraction, located in the Byron hinterland. Enjoy mystical statues, amazing crystals, jewellery, fresh food and great local coffee. Stroll through the beautiful gardens, including the ‘Buddha Walk’ where you will discover a breathtaking 4m high statue of Buddha. There is also a large kids’ playground featuring ‘Fireheart the Dragon’.
This has to be on the top of your ‘things- to-do’ list! The Byron Lighthouse trail leaves from The Pass Beach and meanders past some of the best coastal views in Australia, including the world-famous Wategos Beach. On reaching the Byron Lighthouse, you will be rewarded with 360 degree panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding hinterland.
